One of Equation Business Solutions strengths is our WAN design and implementation expertise. Together with our ISP (Internet Service Provider) Service offering we established that our clients needed to manage and control their bandwidth usage on the WAN as well as access to the Internet. EQRoute was developed as a bandwidth management product in direct response to our clients' needs and requirements.

EQRoute is built on the Linux operating system and uses advanced networking features such as Netfilter, Iptables and Iproute2 for controlling access (Firewall) and bandwidth allocation (Traffic Shaping). Other utilities include Ntop for packet sniffing and traffic statistics, Squid as a Web Proxy Caching server. EQRoute includes a proprietary GUI front end for configuration purposes. EQRoute is available as a base configuration product to which other modules can be added.
